The holiday here since we left France has been .............long if you ask me (but then it did start with a return trip to Perth!) and not long enough for Jade & Marshal! They are so full of beans (Mathilde ...an expression meaning full of life) You will see from the photos, a visit to a real farm for the weekend brought out the tender side of two four and a half year olds. Marshal was SO GENTLE with the rabbits and Jade could manage the chickens! At home, lot's of baking, cakes and cookies, more in their two mouths than in the oven! Then of course Aidans 3
rd Birthday party complete with bbq and bouncing castle. Jade found her feet on rollerskates and both of them wanted to paint the house! It's winter so lot's of rain but also some glorious blue skies and still warm enough for the occasional ice cream. A good time to play hide and seek in dress ups with the favourites at the moment being Catwoman and Spiderman. Marshal passed his first swimming test this week and advanced from Torpedo's to the Marlin group. Jade was feral for days at the rejection and refused to congratulate her brother or eat, sleep or talk about swimming! Not a good time but total glory for Marshal who rightfully is SO PROUD. Return to kindy today so 5 hours alone for the first time in weeks.........bliss!
Thanks to Ellen & Xavier we have news from Denmark, and Isabelle from Meulan/Paimpol but not the past few weeks, a couple of coucou's from Sebastien and lots of laughs with Gouesnou! I know how busy the summer can be in Europe but send some news when you can and maybe some photos SORRY if my file is heavy.............any suggestions welcome to reduce the load on the pictures! I am still NOT technically competent ..............in fact never was!
